RC Detailing with Revit and ASD

We are finding recently that many contractors and structural consultants are now increasingly looking at providing an internal RC detailing capability instead of using specialist companies. Indeed, many of you may have a few seats of CADDS RC and are possibly looking at reducing cost and detailing solely with Revit Structure and AutoCAD Structural Detailing.

Excitech and Autodesk are hosting a free web seminar that will be addressing the above issues and many more on Thursday 23rd September at 12.00 noon. We will be covering the topics below.

•Rebar detailing using Revit Structure.

•Generate comprehensive concrete reinforcement drawings, together with rebar descriptions and material takeoffs, with AutoCAD Structural Detailing macros.

•Help speed up preparation of your reinforcement drawings with tools to automate rebar definition.

•Define reinforcement of structure members using objects and bars, with automatic accounting for covers and hooks.

•Produce drawings and schedules to BS:8666 standards.
